The following example demonstrate the editing of  previous direct detection Platform/Lidar file and how to switch to a coherent lidar system.

First click the Coherent Detection System tab as shown in the figure below.

The Coherent Detection System input fields for a coherent lidar system have been entered in the fields shown in the figure below. A complete listing of the Coherent Detection System inputs are listed in  Coherent Detection System Input Fields Table.

Next click on the Telescope/Scanner tab and change the Diameter of the Primary Telescope to 0.5 m.

Finally, click on the Signal Processing tab. Choose the Phi Capon Estimator as shown below and enter values for the   coherent signal processing. 

Clicking the Platform/Lidar Inputs Complete button to return to the Experiment Manager.

The Cancel button clears ALL inputs from computer memory of the Platform/Lidar Tabs and returns to the Experiment Manager.

The Help button invokes the DLSM help WebPages.
