The Community Doppler Lidar Simulation Model (DLSM) GADS Terrain |
The T106 based GADS uses a direct access data file, OPTTOP, containing terrain information at a 1 degree x 1 degree resolution. Each data record contains land elevation (M) and sea depths (M) for the globe.
The T213 based GADS contain terrain information (based upon Geopotential height) at the 0.5625 degree x 0.5625 degree resolution. There is no land/sea information.
The DAO based GADS contain terrain information (based upon Geopotential height) at the 0.5 degree x 0.625 degree resolution. There is land/sea information.
